The Brief

For The Maris, our team set out to bring California coastal ease to Austin. Ethereal, sculptural, and restrained were the three words that guided both the architectural design and FF&E selection for this project. My goal for the FF&E was to incorporate an airy, light palette of soft neutrals, furniture chosen for its form, and a restrained use of color that lets texture do the talking.

  • Led FF&E selection, design, and styling, including custom rug and furniture coordination.
  • Managed procurement and purchasing for all FF&E and accessories. Arranged for competitive RFPs and purchase orders. Coordinated storage and install for all FF&E.
  • Assisted in production of construction drawings, details, and material schedules.
